Madurai

We are at the Madurai Heritage hotel in Madurai now, it was an easy four hour drive down the mountain and into the valley. We will be here two days to visit the most famous of the Hindu temples of which the first structure dates back 3000 years and the first tower dating back to 1200 A.D. Madurai is the second largest city in the state of Tamilnadu with a population of one point five million.

Right now I am so exhausted that I am calling it am early night and going to bed.
